World’s Tallest Man Marries

Bao Xishun (R), 56, a 2.36-metre (7 feet, 9 inches) herdsman listed by the Guinness World Records as the tallest living man, and his bride Xia Shujuan, 29, 1.68 metres (5 feet, 5 inches), stand during their wedding ceremony on the outskirts of Erdos in north China’s Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region July 12, 2007. The world’s tallest man, whose search for a bride covered the world, ended up marrying a woman from his home town nearly half his age and more than two feet shorter, Chinese media reported.

One Italian beach aims to make the sands friendlier to women by banning men.
On the Italian Adriatic coast, where romance reigns and beachcombers bask in the sun, the notorious Latin lover looks for his prey and he hunts his conquest with chat-up lines. The women are fed up.
“We run away from Italian men,” said Tiziana Andreoletti. “They’re such a drag.”
